WELCOME
The CCS Educational Jazz Festival is a non-competitive venue where participating High School and Middle School bands perform in a relaxed educational environment. The adjudication process involves 4 professional adjudicators, who on a rotation system provide to each band written critiques and a 30 minute private clinic. Traditional Instrumentation is not required. Directors can choose any style of music and perform 1,2, or 3 selections. Combos are also welcome. Every band and director is encouraged to attend the free Special Guest Artist Master Class and Grand Finale Concert. Directors also receive a participation plaque and DVD recording of their performance that day. The wonderful website BAND DIRECTOR .COM will be supporting the festival with a live broadcast on the web.
